Analyser GL5

the GL5 comes pre-programed for glucose, lactate, cholesterol and alcohol plus one spare channel which can be used to run other Analox single-point-calibration oxidase chemistries.

After calibration with a standard of the selected metabolite, the single injection of sample is all that is needed to obtain a result and prepare the analyser for the next analysis.

Sample injection via an accurate positive displacement pipette triggers the complete analytical cycle and a hard-copy result is printed within 20 seconds.

SONATEC, concentration evaluation by sound velocity measurement

It continuously measures the velocity of sound through liquids. Designed for applications that require maximum sensitivity and high accuracy, this device is used in various industries all around the world. Breweries and beverage manufacturers determine extract or dissolved sugar contents in-line with SONATEC. Equipped with an integrated cleaning nozzle, SONATEC HW can be installed directly into brewery wort kettles and evaporators. In numerous pharmaceutical and chemical applications SONATEC is used to control the concentration of acids, caustics and other solutions– but also for monitoring the quality of raw materials and final products. The instrument measures the speed of a sound pulse between a transmitter and a receiver. The sound pulse is created by piezo-elements and moves perpendicular to the product flow. As a specific property of each liquid, the correlation between concentration and sound velocity can be described by a mathematical polynomial. With decades of experience and own laboratory facilities, we have a particular knowledge about polynomials for a huge number of products. Any temperature drifts of the measured signal are automatically compensated for by an internal Pt1000 sensor. SONATEC displays various units, e.g. vol.%, mass %, °Brix and °Plato.

RHOTEC, concentration evaluation by density measurement

It continuously measures the density of liquids. Designed for applications that require maximum sensitivity and high accuracy, this device is used in various industries all around the world. Breweries and beverage manufacturers determine alcohol or dissolved sugar contents in-line with RHOTEC. Dairies rely on RHOTEC to measure milk and cream fat. In numerous pharmaceutical and chemical applications RHOTEC is used to control the concentration of acids, caustics and other solutions – but also for monitoring the quality of raw materials and final products. For density measurement, the liquid flows through a U-shaped tube. While the tube is electronically excited to oscillate at resonance, the oscillation frequency is observed. Any change in the fluid density has an impact on the detected signal and can thus be identified. As a specific property of each liquid, the correlation between concentration and density can be described by a mathematical polynomial. With decades of experience and own laboratory facilities, we have a particular knowledge of the polynomials for a huge number of products. Any temperature drifts of the measured signal are automatically compensated for by an internal Pt1000 sensor. RHOTEC displays various units, e.g. vol.%, mass %, °Brix and °Plato.

COMBITEC, concentrations evaluation by sound velocity and density measurement

It combines the functionality of both RHOTEC and SONATEC. In various industries and around the world this device simultaneously measures density and sound velocity in 3-component liquids with highest sensitivity and accuracy. For density measurement, the liquid flows through a U-shaped tube. While the tube is electronically excited to oscillate at resonance, the oscillation frequency is observed. Any change in the density has an impact on the detected signal and can thus be identified. At the same time the instrument measures the speed of a sound pulse between a transmitter and a receiver. The sound pulse is created by piezo-elements and moves perpendicular to the product flow. As a specific property of each liquid, the correlation between concentration and density resp. sound velocity can be described by a mathematical polynomial. With decades of experience and own laboratory facilities, we have particular knowledge about these polynomials for a huge number of products. Any temperature drifts of the measured signal are automatically compensated for by an internal Pt1000 sensor. COMBITEC displays various units, e.g. vol.%, mass %, °Brix and °Plato.
